In addition to his private practice, Mr. Sayer presently serves as General Counsel at Pacifica Companies and to several real estate, hotel and travel marketing companies. Tom Sayer also teaches at San Diego State University at the L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Representation has included handling hundreds of commercial transactions involving, among other things, real estate acquisitions totaling in excess of $4.5 billion, as well as overseeing numerous lawsuits in the areas of real estate, bankruptcy, employment and commercial law. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 1985 and his undergraduate degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University in 1981.

In addition to his various volunteer and philanthropic contributions to the greater San Diego community, Thomas is also an avid hiker and die-hard San Diego Padres fan.
